Extraordinary Council 22 Nov 09! Grad Union proposals, possible job cuts!

xx Written by Ben Towse

Hi everyone

An emergency meeting of council has just been called for 5pm this Monday, at Jesus Forum. All students are welcome to come along and speak in the debate, and as always I want to hear your views on the motions up for vote, so that I know how to vote (this includes the one I proposed, I will vote against it if convinced that Churchill students in general would oppose it).

Here's the agenda in full:[attachment=1]

Motions

  • CUSU, CUR1350 and CARSR Ltd

  • CUSU/GU Student Support Officer and joint Caseworker

  • University Proposals on Disciplinary and Redundancy Procedures

Election Results Nov 2009

xx Written by Ben Towse

Results are in! The victorious candidates will officially take office at noon this Saturday 21 Nov.

Congratulations to the winners, and well done to everyone who stood – you all ran great campaigns. And many thanks to our outgoing JCR President and the LBGT Officer for all their work. Grayden has done a great job over the past year as President, and Dan is finishing the last of 3 excellent terms in office he’s dedicated to Churchill.
